Artist: John Frusciante
Album: Shadows Collide With People
Song: The Slaughter
In this song the hard part is getting all the chords and the timing right.
As you can I've typed down three ways of taking the A and B chords, and
in this song it would be to use all three. Different places it will be
easier to grab the next chord if the previous chord is lying closer.
For example, in the 2nd chorus it is easier to use the A chord
before the A/F7 chord, while in the next line it is easier to use the A
chord x02220 before the Amaj7 chord. Try to work it out for yourself
It's the same chord, it is just easier to shift to the next one.

Hey dude, this is very helpful on how to play the song, many thanks, But lol, some of the chords are a bit wrong, after the F#m6 chord it goes C#m B A. you've got it right on the second part of the verse. Also i think that the intro part is an Abm rather then an Ab. Hope you agree.
+1

there are some chords that are wrong. The end of the chorus must be:
Cm - B - A

Could someone please tell me what key this is in?
